About Rural Mountain Media
Rural Mountain Media is a one-person website-development and digital-marketing studio built for rural and small-town businesses across the country. I design custom WordPress websites, handle SEO and AI-search optimization, run Google and Facebook advertising, and produce real print and direct-mail (EDDM) campaigns — the whole marketing engine, under one roof, from the person who actually does the work. I shoot my own photography, build on platforms you truly own, and back every project with my “Earn Your Keep” guarantee. No big-agency overhead, no junior hand-offs — just a neighbor who gets rural business.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Faye.
Here’s how I ended up all over the map: for years, military moves, graduate studies and postdoctoral fellowships took my family through Ohio, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Virginia, Pennsylvania, California, and finally back to Colorado (where I call home). Every move meant starting over as the newcomer in a new small town, and building a living that could come with me. That’s exactly why I learned website development and marketing: I needed work that was portable, and businesses that could grow online from anywhere.
Just like you, I’m a small-town entrepreneur. I’ve built my own businesses and rolled up my sleeves in everything from agriculture and the floral industry to building and remodeling, the equine world, and hospitality. I know what it’s like to be the new name trying to get found in a town that’s known everyone else for generations — and I’m here to put that hard-earned experience to work for you.
Why I Built Rural Mountain Media
For a long time, rural business owners had two bad choices. Hire the “city agency” that charged a fortune, spoke in buzzwords, and didn’t understand why you couldn’t take a Zoom call during harvest — or hire the “local hobbyist” who meant well but couldn’t get you ranked on Google to save their life. You were stuck between high-tech fluff and low-tech limitations. I built Rural Mountain Media to close that gap.
The “Digital Neighbor” Philosophy
Off the beaten path doesn’t mean invisible. Rural businesses are the backbone of the economy, and they deserve the same high-powered tools as the startups in Boulder or Denver — just delivered differently.
Plain talk, always
I don’t talk down to you. I explain technology the way you explain your trade — simply, clearly, and focused on the result.
The handshake still counts
In a digital world, trust is still the most valuable currency. I earn it, and I keep it.
Built for the result
Pretty isn’t the point — getting you found and getting you customers is. Every choice serves that.
My Core Values
Committed to the best
Expert-level web development, branding, logo design, and strategic marketing on every single project.
Honest & transparent
Open-minded, honest, and a genuine listener. Impartial advice based on deep knowledge — never just a sales tactic.
Priced for rural reality
Crafty, custom and DIY-friendly solutions with low overhead, so you get the most bang for every hard-earned buck.
My Promise: Buy It Nice, Not Twice
In rural business there’s a saying: the most expensive tool is the one you have to buy twice. A cheap website nobody visits is wasted money; a cheap logo that can’t be printed on a truck door is a liability. I price my work fairly because I build it right the first time — focused on ROI, not just the sticker price. You work hard for every dollar your business earns. I promise to work just as hard to make sure those dollars come back.
